The Giants

My Boys are happy!!!

The Giants are going to the World Series!!!!

My son barely remembers their 2002 trip to the Series.  According to him he is much more into it now.  He actually cried when the final out happened.

I personally am more shocked by the Raiders scoring spree today.  AHHMAZZING the boyz learned where the end zone is.  :0

We are a sports family.  We watch College Basketball, Football, Professional Football, Baseball, Nascar,Basketball….You get the picture.

I must admit that by m0st Sunday nights I am tired of the sport sounds.  I pray you all enjoyed a game or two.  :)

Almost Over an Edge

Have you ever felt comfortable?
Then lazy in your need to keep up with something because you are comfortable?

You are comfortable with your weight, then you notice you have gained 10 pounds?
You are comfortable at your job, then you notice you don’t know the new software?
You are comfortable with your faith, then you find that you have wandered?
You know the feeling…..Don’t you?

I have found myself on an edge that I have not ever thought I would be on. I have never claimed to know it all where faith and my walk with Christ is. I have felt comfortable in knowing who I am in Christ.

I listened to a message by Perry Noble today that basically body checked me, knocked the wind out of me. It made me realize that I am on the verge of jumping over an edge that I wouldn’t be able to climb back up. It breaks my heart to think where I almost let the enemy take me. All in the name of self gratification, proof that I can do what I want and other selfish thoughts.

This action would have ruined my family, life and self-worth.

I ask you to review your life. Review your comfort levels. Please take caution of any areas the enemy could use to destroy you. It happens without you even knowing at first.

At the end of the service the Worship Team came out and sang this song. I cried

Jesus be the Center
Jesus be my Vision
Jesus be my Path
Jesus be my Guide
Jesus be the Fire in my Heart
Jesus be the Wind in my Sails
Jesus, Jesus
Jesus be my Hope
Jesus be my Source
Jesus be the Fire in my Heart
Jesus be the Wind in my Sails
Jesus, Jesus

I thank the Lord for using Perry Noble to Slap Me Upside the Head! I love it when He uses people to do that before it is to late. Please be vigilant, it is true that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.
