Seeking Peace and Pursuing It!

FOR TODAY JANUARY 24th
Outside my window… SUN….and a few puffy clouds
I am thinking… That January has just flown by.
I am thankful for… For my office chair.  It is better than the one they gave me. 
From the kitchen… Not Sure-I’m leaving it to Craig this week!  Lucky woman I am.
I am wearing… Tweed Capris, Black Sweater and Tom’s Wedge Shoes
I am studying… My teenage daughter, trying to figure out life from her point of view. (scary)  
I am going… To walk everyday at lunch.  We are having spring like weather and I am going to enjoy it while it lasts.
I am reading… Always True – God’s 5 promises when life is hard – By James MacDonald
I am hoping… That the X-Rays I had give us some answers or rule out more things. 
I am hearing… Tons of birds singing.  They are having a blast in the warmer temperatures.
Around the house… I trying to get caught up on some letter writing, good old snail-mail correspondence.
One of my favorite things… Note Cards and Stationary
A few plans for the rest of the week… I am looking forward to a friend’s birthday dinner and lunch with another friend.

Outside my window… A grey sky with a Dog staring at me through the door.
I am thinking… About my 1st ever Acupuncture appointment on Thursday.  Hoping to find some relief from the pain.
I am thankful for… My job…I love what I do and am so happy that God blessed me with my job.
From the kitchen… London Broil, Garlic Roasted New Potatoes and Steamed Cabbage!  YUM
I am wearing… Khakis, Tan Cami, White Shirt, Kenneth Cole Reaction Heels
I am studying… James 
I am going… To work
I am reading… Love and Respect by Dr. Emmerson Eggerichs
I am hoping… That my computer system at work behaves today.  Last week it had problems.
I am hearing… The Latte machine.  One Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte coming up!  So much better when they are made at home.
Around the house… I have been enjoying a great pillow find!  I love pillows.
One of my favorite things… Fuzzy Socks that keep my feet warm.  I even take a pair to work to wear. 
A few plans for the rest of the week:  I am going to a TobyMac concert with Hope, my friend and her son on Sunday.  I am excited!!  Brandon Heath will open the show and he is amazing.
Here is picture for thought I am sharing… Mt. Lassen covered in Snow.  This is one of the two big mountains around me.  The other is Mount Shasta.
