Let’s review 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

We are pressed on every side by troubles,
BUT
we are NOT crushed.

We are perplexed,
BUT
NOT driven by dispair.

We are hunted down,
BUT
NEVER abandoned by God.

We get knocked down,
BUT
we are NOT destroyed.

Through suffering,
our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus
so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.

We can concentrate on what we “Are”:
Pressed
Perplexed
Hunted Down
Knocked Down
OR
We can concentrate on what we are “Not”:
Crushed
Driven to Dispair
Distroyed

I pray that the Life of Jesus is seen in my life and my body.

Most of all though
Isn’t it exciting that…
We are NEVER ABANDONED BY GOD!!!

We were at Disneyland.
Craig, Ryan, Hope, Katie and I
One room – Four Nights
3 Days in the Park

As I was laying awake at 3am….I really felt blessed. My feet hurt. My husband and son were snoring. My daughter was hacking with a cold. Peace at it’s finest…NOT

But wait…..
It really WAS Peaceful!
I knew where my family was and even though my sleeping was disturbed…..
I knew I was Blessed!

Sometimes Life’s Chaos is very Soothing.
Even if I find myself playing Words With Friends at 3am.  Even if I finally fall back to sleep with my earphones in and music playing.  Even when I wake up tired and know that I am running around Disneyland all day.

Life’s Chaos can be very soothing!!

Remember there are reactions to every situation in Life….

I chose Joy and Peace!

Sunday we leave on a family vacation. We have chosen to go to the “Happiest Place on Earth”. So I have chosen to represent Disneyland with the most well known song ever!!

OK This is a super long video but it was the best I could find with an authentic feel!!!

Have a great week!!! I am going to Disneyland!!

Head on over to Amy’s at Signs, Miracles and Wonders for more great songs!!

The next time you feel like GOD can’t use YOU, just remember. . .

Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Sampson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer. . .
AND Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now!! God can use you.

Besides you aren’t the message, you are just the messenger.

I received this in an email today. It reminded me that I don’t have to be perfect to be used by God. I hope that this reminds you as well!
