One of my Goals in 2010 is to start Blogging more regularly.
I have figured out that blogging is more for me then you. I have realized that I need the outlet. I need a place to blabber about whatever. I welcome you to join me in this journey of becoming closer to God, staying a loving wife, and gaining fallible insight to parenting teens.
I use to do Monday Meditations. Sometimes they were quotes, sayings or scripture. This week it is a scripture.
At the beginning of a year I will pick a verse to “stand on” for the year.
This years pick is….
Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. – Psalm 55:22
This brings me comfort now. I am sure that it will be a solid rock, foundation, to stand on the whole year!
Do you have a theme for 2010?

Weight loss is my theme for 2010, so I’m reading Weigh Down Diet and The Dieters Prayer Book. I’m learning to “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I am doing a new thing!” Isaiah 43:18-19
Thanks for this, Theresa. Ps 55:22 is a wonderful promise. This year, I’m clinging to my life-verse:
“Thus says the LORD: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; 24 But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.” (Jeremiah 9:23, 24, NKJV).
Happy New Year.
Bill
thank you for this Theresa!
My theme this year is to further my relationship with Christ. I want to learn more about his word and what he has in store for me.
Love the verse….right now I am standing on
Ps 118:17
“I shall not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done. ”
In hopes that my cousin Alex who is still in the hospital recovering will make this his Lifeverse!! He experienced a wonderful miracle and praying that he see’s that God is real and very present as a result!!
Happy New Year!
