Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. -Psalm 34:12-14

I want to cry - it makes me sad to know I spend way too little time trying to hear this.

Some other things I want to tell you.

Remember our conversation about prayer? Embarrassment of prayer in front of others?
I go to Church on Sunday - They start service with a 5th grader on stage, eyes closed, head bowed giving the opening prayer. - WOW, what a slap in the face.

But - to top it off. Service is over, a 16 year old boy comes on stage and presents the closing prayer AND closing comments. It all happen at the perfect time, but made me feel like such a fool.

Last thing I want to say - my new Google reader account, it doesn't update yours.... :( I might need to play with it...

Beautiful words, Theresa. Listening for God in the stillness of my day...that's why I get up before my family..to hear God in the silence.
