Fearless
Imagine Your Life Without Fear
By Max Lucado
Published By Thomas Nelson
This book is about having fears and what to do about them. How to deal with your fears by changing how you think. It reminds you that our Savior Jesus is with us. That there is no fear that you and He can’t tackle and control. It also leads you to look at your former worries as learning experiences. One of my Favorite Sentences in the book is….. “When you place your faith in Christ, Christ places his Spirit before, behind, and within you.” (Page 130, Fearless by Max Lucado)
I really enjoyed this book. When I first saw the title I wasn’t really sure I wanted to read it. I don’t watch “Scary” movies. I don’t Fear the boogeyman. Uncertain as to what kind of Fear we would be learning about. I think I almost FEARED reading it. I found this book to be insightful, fresh and educational.
The way Max Lucado lays out FEARLESS is great. With Chapter Titles like “My Child Is in Danger – Fear of Not Protecting My Kids” and “There’s a Dragon in My Closet – Fear of Worst-Case Scenarios” you really get a feel of where it will lead you. The Author is wonderful about backing up his statements with Biblical truths. I also appreciated his candor and personal stories of Fear in his life.
I would recommend this book for everyone. It is a clean, easy read with a wonderful discussion guide in the back. I hope you enjoy it! I sure did.

Great review Theresa! I liked this book also, the author showed me fears I did not know I had. It was quite revealing and helpful and I’m going to give a few copies for Christmas gifts this year.Since you already have it, I’ll just have to give you jewelry for Christmas (smile). Have a blessed day.
PS-I also like the new blog colors…easier to read and see the photos.

I love Max Lucado! It definitely sounds like something I would like to read about. I don’t feel I’m bound by fear, but there are a few fears that like to rear their ugly heads every once in awhile!
Hi,
Trying to get caught up in blogging and commenting again — I just saw you’d moved your blog. Looks good! Thanks for the review of “Fearless” too.
I just got this book in the mail too…. I’m letting my mom read it first, but now I’m even more motivated to start reading it.
